My experience with Mr. Hess has been uniformly and strikingly positive. I first contacted Mr. Hess by leaving a phone message on a federal holiday, hoping to receive a response on the following business day, but was overwhelmed to receive a response within minutes. By his standards the matter in question (traffic citation) must have been boringly simple, but to me it was new, and I needed both general legal advice and knowledge of local practices and circumstances. He provided both in abundance, listening carefully, then patiently addressing my questions with clarity and focus through multiple texts, emails, and phone calls --- all without charge (though I would have been happy to compensate advice of this quality and timeliness). I would not hesitate to consult Mr. Hess on any future issues, and I most strongly recommend him to prospective clients.

Mr. Hess was incredibly professional and responded promptly to any concerns I had. He did a great job in explaining the situation and what my options are. Even though my situation was just a simple traffic case, he still took it seriously (the other lawyer I got in contact with played down my request and told me to just accept the fine). I found Terry here after finding myself in need of a lawyer who could help me with 2 tickets I received while driving through central PA (1 for speeding and 1 for careless driving). I was moving to western PA and had never gotten a ticket before so I had no idea what to do. I had to fight the charges or else my insurance would skyrocket with 2 violations and I didn?t want this to affect my ability to get a license in PA. I contacted the office of Terry Hess Law regarding the speeding ticket that I received while moving from one state to another through Pennsylvania. I had never gotten a speeding ticket before, and I was a bit concerned since my license and registration were not in Pennsylvania and I was intending to switch them to another non-Pennsylvania state in the near future, and I wasn't sure how all of these details would impact me. My teen and his friends made unfortunate choices at a weekend college party, resulting in several legal charges. The situation was complicated because we live in Md., and the charges would need to be handled in Pa. We were referred to Mr. Hess by one of the other parents, and I?m glad we found him. Mr. Hess was really amazing when we needed help and didn't know what to do or the laws in Pennsylvania. He walked us through everything and then worked directly with our son, explaining what he could probably expect, what he should do to prepare, etc. He is very approachable, thorough, kind and smart.
