Ms. Johnson was awarded the 2018 Women in the Law Recognition Award from the Indiana State Bar Association's Women in the Law Committee. This award is given to honor women attorneys in Indiana who contribute to the advancement of women in the legal profession, serve as role models and mentors, and have influenced women to pursue a career in law; and for contributions to the legal profession. She was also designated by her peers as an Indiana Super Lawyers Rising Star® in Civil Litigation - Defense for 2013-2015 and Indiana Super Lawyers 2021 - 2024. She is active in the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana.
Ms. Johnson grew up in Posey County, Indiana. She graduated from the University of Evansville, cum laude, with a B.S. in Legal Studies. Ms. Johnson received her J.D., cum laude, from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She is also a 2002 Fellow of the Indiana Conference for Legal Education Opportunity (ICLEO).
