After graduating from Rutgers University, David worked in New York City at various legal firms before earning his law degree from Marquette University Law School. He has been licensed to practice in Wisconsin since 2007 and has been certified in collaborative family law from the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin.
Committed to professional education, David has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School, and has given lectures and presentations for various legal groups including the State Bar of Wisconsin. He has also authored articles published in a variety of publications. In 2010, he attended the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers community property symposium in Seattle as Wisconsin's representative.
Active in his professional community, David belongs to the Dane County Bar Association and has served as a board member for the group's technology, courthouse, and delivery of legal services committees. From 2011-2017, he was a board member for the State Bar of Wisconsin's Children & the Law Section, and now serves as a board member for the Family Law Section.
