Eddie Treviño, Jr. is a partner and founder of Treviño & Bodden, and is proud to currently serve as Cameron County Judge after having previously served as Mayor of Brownsville, Texas. Mr. Treviño has extensive State trial experience involving complex legal matters which include commercial and business disputes, wrongful death, nursing home cases, work-place injuries, product liability, automobile accidents, criminal matters, and family law cases. He has represented many individuals with serious injuries in negligence cases and has also represented national and international corporations in both state and federal courts.

His legal practice includes, Plaintiff's personal injury, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, government defense, family law and commercial litigation. Mr. Treviño is also certified as a mediator and provides local counsel services to out-of-town attorneys. Mr. Treviño is fluent in Spanish.

Mr. Treviño attended St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas where he graduated Cum Laude in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations. Mr. Treviño received his law degree from the University of Texas Law School in Austin, Texas in 1989.

Eddie Treviño, Jr. was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. Mr. Treviño's family is from Brownsville, and have been active in several businesses in the community. Mr. Treviño served Brownsville as a city commissioner from 2001 to 2003, and was elected as Brownsville's Mayor in 2003. His term as Mayor ran through May 2007. Public service has always been a big part of the Trevino family. In 2016, Mr. Trevino returned to public service when he was elected County Judge of Cameron County. He currently serves as County Judge, and takes great pride in representing the citizens of Cameron County in that capacity.
