Verified ClientHired Attorney 2020-2021Very good in her field. Was at time difficult to get ahold of but I chalk that up to having trouble finding good help, and her being busy. She helped me in a unique manner as we had a collaboration agreement due to my ex wife being out of state which had taken a long time to navigate through. She tells you how it is once you tell her to knock off the lawyer talk. She was stern, stood her ground, and spoke intelligently enough to not make you feel belittled or outclassed by her vocabulary it was what I needed at the time and she helped me get through it. Value: she's a lawyer you're just feeding the machine to get you through court issues. Just say goodbye to the money. QoS: Was well once you got a hold of her and got her to explain what was going on or what was happening next, she's just busy but she does get the job done. PC: I feel she does her job very well and professionally enough for the client. I feel she has good shrewd judgement which helps her do her job. If I have issues in the future I would reach out to her again.

Verified ClientHired Attorney 2020-2021Ms. Hadley was the perfect attorney for me. She was knowledgeable and worked tirelessly with me from the very beginning of trying to decide if divorce was right for me. Once I decided to move ahead with my divorce, she worked with me throughout the entire process. She has so much experience she was able to guide me to make my own decisions. With her knowledge of the laws and her compassion, she guided me to the best approach for me. With attention to detail and standing by my side, she got me through this hard time and got the best solution for my case. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs someone with knowledge and compassion to help you through these tough times..

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
