Joshua Epstein - Los Angeles, CA

Joshua Epstein is a public interest litigator dedicated to increasing access to justice for workers and consumers, holding corporations accountable for violations of law, and upholding the standards of the legal profession. Joshua joined Makarem and Associates in June 2023 and will handle cases in each of the firm's practice areas: single-plaintiff employment cases, wage and hour class actions, and legal malpractice litigation.

Prior to joining Makarem and Associates, Joshua defended indigent tenants from eviction during the pandemic at Bet Tzedek Legal Services and completed a federal clerkship for the Hon. Alistair E. Newbern in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. Joshua graduated from Berkeley Law in 2017 with a Public Interest and Social Justice Certificate. He received his B.A. from the University of Chicago in 2012. He is licensed to practice law in California, New York, and Tennessee.
