Established in 1983, and currently located on West Maple Road in West Bloomfield, the Law Office of Marshall S. Tauber has been providing high quality individual attention to individual and business clients throughout the State of Michigan.

The primary concern of this office is to assure that our clients fully understand the nature and potential results that may occur or arise in any legal matter. Mr. Tauber has served thousands of individuals facing criminal charges of all types in both the State and Federal Courts. Protecting the rights and liberties of clients charged with serious felonies as well as misdemeanors, including offenses related to drinking and driving and especially restoring individual’s driver’s licenses has become a major part of the practice.

Mr. Tauber has extensive experience in liquor licensing, both in assisting in the purchase and sale of businesses with liquor licenses as well as representing clients in administrative actions before the liquor control commission.

Since Mr. Tauber has served as President [2003-2005] of the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, [CDAM], a 600-plus member, independent, Statewide association of Criminal Defense Practitioners dedicated to the ongoing education and training that is necessary for attorneys to remain current and qualified to advise and represent clients charged with criminal offenses in our State's local and Federal Courts. Mr. Tauber has served on the faculty and as a member of the CDAM Board of Directors since 1992 and is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, [NACDL]. Additionally, he has served as the 1995-96 Chair of the Criminal Law Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association and as a member of that association's Public Advisory Committee on Judicial Candidates from 1998 through 2002.

Besides criminal defense, our firm also concentrates its practice in the areas of probate and trust administration, commercial and small business law, real estate and construction financing, leasing, purchase and sales transactions, contract drafting and negotiations and business disputes as well as representation of individuals and businesses accused of regulatory and licensing violations. Mr. Tauber has years of experience representing dozens of businesses from assisting and advising in the formation and operation of small corporations, partnerships or one-man shops to favorably resolving a variety lawsuit, business disputes and problems for Fortune 500 Corporations.
