Mitch Heppenheimer is a great attorney. I had to chime in after reading the poor review. He's no nonsense, which is what you want in an attorney. I wouldn't attribute that to lack of personality. His going rate is typical across the land of attorneys. Mitch has represented me, and represented me well, since 2014. He's an exceptional attorney. I'm not taking away from what someone believed to be a bad experience, but wanted to share my own. I highly recommend Mitch and his law firm.

Mitch Heppenheimer is a horrible attorney. Do not utilize him for any real estate transactions. I would give him zero starts if I could. He has the personality of a wet rag. I hired him to assist my elderly father with a home purchase where the contract did not allow real estate agents. I did most of the work, yet all he did was send correspondence by email and then sent outrageous billing invoices when he didn't do anything. He overcharges, so if you are on the phone with him for 5 minutes, be prepared to be charged for a hour. He wants to be sure he gets as much out a client as he can for his $275/hour. When he was questioned about his overbilling and high charges, which contracted what we were told in the beginning, he then an email letter stating he would no longer represent my family and dropped representation right in the middle of a real estate transaction. So now we are left hanging as the deal fell through due to a bad inspection and the Seller's attorney will not return the earnest money deposit. He is currently being reported to the Indiana Bar Associate and will face a possible lawsuit.
