Tracy is considered by her peers as one of the most successful female attorneys in Nevada. As everyone at Eglet Wall Christiansen will proudly admit, Tracy is the smartest and most efficient lawyer in the Firm.
Not only is Tracy’s legal knowledge beyond comparison, but she redefines multi-tasking. Tracy leads the largest team at Eglet Wall, the Catastrophic Injury Unit, managing the litigation of hundreds of multi-million dollar cases. Her skill, strategy, and tenacity in preparing a case for trial positions her clients to obtain the highest value on their cases.
She also is the best negotiator in the Firm and handles all of the large settlement conferences, mediations and settlement negotiations. As if this wasn’t enough, Tracy is also the Managing Partner supervising more than 50 employees and the day to day operations of the Firm.
Tracy also manages to find time to not only prepare large complex cases for trial, but to work closely with her husband and partner, Robert Eglet, in trying many of these cases.
Tracy Eglet (Mendola) grew-up in Buffalo, New York where she was born in 1967 graduating from high school at age 16. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Canisius College. Thereafter, Tracy earned her Law Degree from Ohio Northern University College of Law. She then began her legal career in Columbus, Ohio where she practiced for four years before relocating her practice to Nevada.
Tracy is licensed to practice in Nevada, Ohio, the Federal Courts of Nevada and Ohio as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Tracy genuinely cares about her clients, which shows in the amount of time and effort she devotes to their cases. She is proud to be partners with, who she believes, are the best lawyers in Nevada.
Tracy also manages to devote a significant amount of pro bono (free) legal work for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, Children’s Attorneys Project providing representation to child victims of abuse and/or neglect.
Tracy also makes sure there is time outside the Firm to spend with her partner in life as well as law, Robert Eglet and their three children, Keegan, Blake and Jordan.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
