She is admitted to practice in all Virginia state courts and in the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia and has argued cases before the Virginia Court of Appeals and Virginia Supreme Court. She is a Commissioner in Chancery for the Rockingham County Circuit Court and is a past president of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Bar Association.
