I am so upset with AAA, I was in your Montebello office and my son and myself was so disrespected by a man named Raymond. (He really is so full of himself) He should not be greeting anyone with his bad and rude attitude. People in line agreed with the way he left me thinking how he was so unappropriated. They stated to my son and myself to report him to a supervisor, I did her name is Andrea Lopez Senior Branch Coordinator.she apologized for the way he was behaving, but Raymond himself should of been the one apologizing, because he laughed at us for call upon Andrea, I not only saw him gossiping about me and my son and herd Raymond say to another co-worker," C'mon this is me,I never do anything wrong" Bad Attitude! Raymond has to be humble when one is making a complaint, but no he was giggling and laughing, When I was walking out of the office he walk towards my son and myself and rolled his eyes. (not professional at all)I hope someone can talk some sense into Raymond because as a member of many years, my family and myself can take our business elsewhere, were we will be treated much kinder and with a professional attitude.

Up until now, Automobile Club of Southern California has always represented my wife and me fairly and equitably and provides a lot of services separately from the auto insurance that as a group make this agency convenient to use. A check of price competition shows that they do a great job in beating most of the competition particularly if the coverage is also comparable. Currently, I am finding that the only weakness in this (and other insurance companies) is that they stand by the Traffic Collision/police report, even if the facts do not support the report). A matter is pending and a follow up to this review is pending as well.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
