Mr. Morris II, 1st Thank you, for how extremely helpful you were. I originally reached out to Attorney Laura Margulies, who took my case back in 2011. After hearing that she had retired, I left a message concerning my case, not thinking that the new Attorney would actually call me back. Well in fact, what a surprise, Attorney Frank Morris II called me back the same day. I told him my concerns and he went well beyond and found my records and sent it to me, as well as written advice that I will use. He also took time to explain the legal process to me as well on what I should do, at no cost. Sir, Attorney Frank Morris II, you are my Johnnie Cochran! Thank you sincerely, Juan Sutton

Morris Margulies is by far the best law firm to fight on your behalf and take care of your personal injury needs. When I came into the office I was greeted by the receptionist who was friendly and polite. When Mr. Morris approached me, he was respectful, attentive and seemed to be very concerned about the hardship my accident caused. He wanted to get me the compensation I deserved. In doing so, he was very efficient, got the job done and I felt at ease during the entire process. I appreciate Morris Margulies law firm for being there for me when I needed. I knew I had the right man for the job when I first met him. I highly recommend!

I contacted the law firm for a case for a deeded lot and had to appear in court. Mr Morris informed me he would handle the case and not to worry. Mr Morris called me back to inform me that the fees i owed was cut down drastically down. I was so excited i went to the office to pay immediately. I was in such a disarray from the fees and he kept his word and handle the situation. I couldn't imagine what i would have done without him.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
