Hired Law firm 2024-2025My daughter used David Geene custody case after they went to court, he told her that he is her lawyer. She is getting ready to move and need to take baby daddy back to court. David has do nothing but give her the run a around. She ask him do I need to get another lawyer he said “I understand if you do”. Now we have agreed to his retainer and it’s been paid and agreed to his hour rate. She can’t get him to answer her phone calls and email sometimes he responds. Do not recommend this law firm.

Hired Law firm 2023-2024What a privilege it was to have an attorney who truly cared about my case. I retained Roy Gean III last year to finish what had been started. On the day I walked in for my consultation, i was totally impressed as Roy had already studied my case & had it printed out in front of him & was ready to go. If I had to chance to go back, I would have hired him from the beginning which would've eliminated so much unnecessary time, money & frustration. Unlike other attorneys I have worked with, Roy listens to the needs & concerns of the client, has integrity which is very important and possesses the knowledge & wisdom to win the case. His humility stood out instantly & he was a beast in the courtroom exposing every lie that was being spoken. Dont think twice, he's your guy.

Hired Law firm 2022Attorneys are rarely needed when life is at its best. They are asked to step into already negative circumstances and provide the most positive outcome. Attorney David C. Gean did just that for my family and I. David provided great service in our time of need. His handling of the situation was efficient and effective. Friendly, fair, polite, and professional all describe my experience with David C. Gean. One detail that stands out to me is David’s ability and willingness to communicate. Every, single time I had a question or concern, David’s response was timely and easy to understand. I sincerely appreciate the high quality service of David C. Gean.

Hired Law firm 2019-2021As we found ourselves in need of an attorney, Michael Pierce of Gean Law Firm was highly recommended to us. Michael is beyond 'just an attorney'. He puts his entire concentration and effort into his clients' needs. He is always willing to answer our questions, and we found him to be very skilled in his representation of us. One more thing, he is most patient, respectful and kind. Michael helped us tremendously, He accomplished everything he said that he would do. We are pleased and proud to be represented by Michael Pierce of Gean Law Firm. Most sincerely, Mark and Victoria Kaelin

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
