Hello, my name is Brent E Dickinson. And in the year of 2007. An old man named Lester MicKinsey had offered me and my mother his farm all we had to do is move into his farm house and let him pass at his own place. But i had no idea about farming. And i said to give me a little whial to think about it. I had recently had gotten a devorce from my ex wife. And then when i finally figured out just how he was running everything on his farm. And i told my mother to tell him ok we will do it. But i was too late. He had doen sold his farm to one of his harvisters. And when he sold the farm he moved his safe to my mothers place. And like a dummy I picked up my ex and she had moved back in. After we moved the safe in to my mothers house. And my wife took off with some documents. From out of the safe. And my mother had noticed. And asked me whear me ex went to. My Ex told me that she was going to fill out a couple of work applications and would be back in a little bit. Then I was told about the missing documents. To some oilfield leases, buissnes, and bank acount imformation.then my sister came over and told us whear she had just seen her at. Then I went over to Peet&Roassas to try to catch up to her. But when i got thear. Thay told me that she had doen snuck off with somebody and thay didn't see who she left with. And then the old man moved in to my mothers place. 4 day's before I had went to work. Driving back and forth. From Sandford Fritch to Canadian and back. And Lester MicKinsey had noticed that his documents in a black with white speckols spinol note book with a pouch on the inside of the outer cover part of the notebook. He noticed that that Spirel note book wasent in his safe. And then he called his superintendent. And had him chang the names on all of his oil field property. Businesses and bank acounts. To Brent and Carrie Dickinson name. This oil field is in aboline texas. Lester had given it to me and my mother. Because i had missed out on taking and running his farm like as of a tradition. And my mother won't get off her but and do nothing. And I'm working out of town. And had got given this oil field and doesent do annything about theas tiffs.

I am being evicted due to retaliation. I live in a shed that my mom and boyfriend allowed me to live in. I have spent time and money fixing it up. Once I put a stop to my mother drugs being brought to the house she had her boyfriend which is the owner of the property to file a evict notice.other than that, I have done nothing wrong. I was not charged money for rent because the shed I'm living in has no water, gas,or lights.the water that I am supposed to use,was cut off by my boyfriend to keep me from using it.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
