Mr. Isaac and his team handled my case expeditiously and with care. He advised honestly, with input based on extensive experience. I researched several lawyers before deciding on Mr. Isaac and am very happy I went with him. My case was settled with acceptable terms. Mr. Isaac was friendly and empathetic. I felt that the service I received was well worth the fee.

Elliot did a great job with my document review last year.

My experience with Elliot Isaac?s law firm was exceptional. I was wrongly fired by a fortune 500 company that broke my contract. I called all the big Phoenix law firms that specialize in employment law. After reviewing my case, two of them suggested that I contact Mr. Isaac. From the free initial consultation, through mediation and arbitration, Mr. Isaac proved to be incredibly knowledgeable, empathetic and an understanding ally who objectively looked my case then guided it to a huge settlement win. Mr. Isaac is not a flashy, high priced attorney with an attitude. He is a level-headed, highly educated, subtle and affordable attorney who easily bested a high dollar law firm from Washington DC. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for excellent employment representation.

Elliot and his team were fantastic. I found them through a personal referral and the experience was very positive. They were quick to respond to my initial contact, gave real time/attention to my problem, and where transparent about what a working relationship might look like. They didn?t try to sell me on their service. They just advised what they could offer and there was zero pressure to retain their services. To say blunt sounds negative but I don?t mean it that way. All the cards were on the table at all times and there were none of the stereotypical ?lawyer games? or ?lawyer speak? that I have experienced in the past. I was updated regularly and when an urgent or pressing matter came up they were available very quickly. It truly felt as though I had an advocate in my corner. They worked for my interests and not simply the interest of their fees, which I found to be very reasonable and fair. You would be doing yourself a favor if you considered contacting Elliot.

In March I hired Elliot for a case and his communication has been very poor to say the least. It was taking 2 weeks or longer to get updates on my case or even to just get an email back to a request for an updated. He tried to blame it on the other side not replying but the at least reply to my emails requesting for an update. I would not hire him again and not recommend him to anyone. I ended up having to release him and hire a new attorney who was also shocked at the lack of service.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
