I would recommend Jim Gesmer to anyone. He was my lawyer for my recent disability case. He is steadfast, caring, personable, and very dedicated. My case lasted five years and he was by my side throughout.

I want to start by saying that Brad Reynolds is easily one of the best attorneys you could ever want in your corner representing you for a work injury [and/or handling social security disability]. I wish I had hired Brad from the start of my work injury journey?I was electrocuted on the job & fell off a machine into a trench onto a pipeline due to a utility locator not marking/identifying a bundle of powerlines. I suffered numerous injuries (neurological, orthopedic, psychological, etc), had multiple surgeries, received & still going thru on-going therapy (physical, cognitive/speech, neuropsych) 7 1/2 years post-accident. Unfortunately, I had an absolutely terrible experience with another law firm (Black & Jones) for 6 years before making the decision to fire them. I randomly met a legal consultant that was very experienced in Work Comp law. It was a chance encounter that ultimately led to a long conversation about my injury & experience with my case. This person ended up reviewing my case pro-bono & spent a considerable amount of time pointing out countless missteps & mind-boggling mismanagement of my case. After ignoring my intuition for so long about the B&J law firm, I knew I had to hire someone else to stop the hemorrhaging & damage being done to my case. I eventually did some research & set up several interviews with other attorneys right away. After meeting Brad & going over the details of my case for over 3+ hrs, I knew instantly he was the right one for the job. It was a gut-feeling/God-whispering-in-my-ear moment for me that was much needed at that pivotal time, as I was truly in a very dark place in my life & had virtually no hope or trust in anyone anymore. If you?re reading this & are struggling with trying to find someone you trust to handle your own work injury, please consider my advice before looking elsewhere. Even if you?re currently with another law firm, but don?t feel like your case is getting the attention it deserves, it?s probably because you?re not. Trust your intuition. Set up a meeting with Brad & give him a chance to review your case/work injury. You won?t regret it! My only advice is: pay attention (take notes, keep good documentation), exhibit patience (the legal process can be grueling at times) & trust/follow Brad?s advice. In January of 2020 I got a tiny cut on my finger while working on the receiving docks at a company that distributes fish all over the mid west. I wish I had the 5 star lawyer that other people have commented about. My case has dragged on for years with very little communication or updates from Attorney Reynolds. Then one day he says he is going to drop my case. He feels he cant win it...after 4 years. Perhaps if he was proactive the first year or two, this wouldn't have happened. I trust my lawyer and lost valuable time and money. If a lawyer can't trust their client being on the stand, dont take the case! I believe in my case and the truth I have to share.
