The Devadoss Law Firm, P.L.L.C. - Dallas, TX

The law firm initially was responsive, but once a retainer was provided nonresponsive and behaved opposite to what I initially contacted this firm to assist. I read a review recently that was similar to my experience. I contacted the law firm and asked to speak to the Office Manager, I was told that she would call me back. I didn't receive any call. The next day I phoned again and was then put on hold and no one came back and then the phone was disconnected. A 3rd call with the same request for a Office Manager was made, A lady who answered the phone named Claudia, I told her about the calls and she told me if I didn't like the law firm I could go somewhere else. I told her that her conduct and law firm nonresponsive behavior was unprofessional. I have never received a response from the law firm. Also, Debra Hauser handled the initial request for representation and the law firm mishandled, delayed response and appears not to be legitimate properly handling my case. I sought a return of retainer. NOT GOOD, WHEN THE SAME ISSUES HAVE PERSISTED AND THE LAW FIRM IS NOT SERIOUSLY PROTECTING YOUR RIGHTS!!

They only want your money. Lackluster firm. Your Google search will be more helpful. Don't hire this firm.

If I could not use any stars, I would. When I first signed up with this company, they were calling and all happy to answer any question before I paid a retainer fee. Once I paid a $2100 retainer fee, my calls went unanswered and it would be days of them getting back to me and emails weren't answered until.days later. I started working with a few attorneys at first but then they kept switching attorneys, bouncing my case around, which is very unprofessional, and each time I would have to start over with whatever attorney to explain things in my case.They dragged their feet on getting me to see a doctor, which I had to pay almost $1000 out of pocket to get a medical narrative, and once I received that in June, they hardly did any work on my case but charged me for any little thing, including reading and responding to emails and giving call backs. Everything I filled out kept being returned to me for edits and questions, thus being charged more money to read the same thing over and over, depleting my retainer fee. I had my narrative in June but my case wasn't filed until November. That used up all my retainer and the attorney and this company was asking for more money. Because they wanted $1000 more and I refused, I had to finish my case myself. I aim still waiting for the DOL to view my claims and waiting on an answer. This company is strictly about money and is not concerned about the needs of their clients. I really had a bad experience with this company and would advise anyone to beware. It's unfair that I have been waiting on my case to be resolved since almost 8 months with little help and a lot of money. DO NOT US THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

Sorry, lazy, unethical, and greedy is what this man is. He practices federal employment law yet he doesn’t know the SOL in its entirety. Bad attorney if he doesn’t know what he claims to do well. ALL HE SAID TO ME, WITHOUT LETTING ME SPEAK, WAS “NO NO NO I DON’T WANT TO HELP YOU, THE SOL IS OVER.” Ah no it’s not. He doesn’t know simple SOLs. RUN FROM THIS POSER ATTORNEY. MY CASE IS TOO DIFFICULT FOR HIM. He hung up on me. I need help for 12 years of retaliation, harassment and hatred toward me for 12 years. I’ll never be hired again. In 2008 the NM USAO wrongfully terminated me, verbally and physically, including spitting at me and to this day I’m not sure why. THE HR WOMAN AND SOME AUSA WENT TO 11 jobs and had me fired. Yes and I don’t know to this day why. I read their depos for first time a few months ago and I don’t know why the slander and libel. It’s worse than I imagined. Three of them are now federal judges. MR DEVAROS IS SCARED, GREEDY, LAZY, AND HE’S A NO NO ATTORNEY. RUN AWAY FROM THIS ATTORNEY. GOR HIM NOT TO SAY NO BEFORE HE KNEW THE EXTENT WAS PURPOSELY DONE. HE KNEW IT WOULD BE A CASE HE CAN’T HANDLE. RUN.

I have used the Devadoss Law Firm in the past. I was successful. So, when my employer decided to deny my 2 reasonable accommodations and to medically remove me, I returned to Devadoss Law Firm. Again, I was successful! Debra and her team were awesome! Debra completed all of the necessary paperwork for my disability retirement. In fact, the disability retirement packet was so well put together that the lady from OPM informed me that my packet was a ray of sunshine because she did not have to request any other information. Debra always kept me well informed and always responded to my emails/calls. She made me feel like my case was the only case that mattered! My disability retirement was decided in my favor within 2 months of being submitted. If I have another issue that needs legal attention, I will definitely call on the Devadoss Law Firm! Money well invested!!!
