Hired Law firm 2022-2026Natalie Durflinger is the best. She and her staff worked tirelessly for me in order to achieve the best outcome for my case. It took about a year and a half to receive any ruling or decision. And even after that I am looking at potentially another year or two of probation. After going through all of that, I have a very negative view of the police, vindictive neighbors, Prosecuting Attorneys, Judges and the whole system. But Natalie was the only positive component or person during my adventure in a bureaucratic nightmare resulting from a misdemeanor that I consider a joke.

Hired Law firm 2021-2023All the associates at Durflinger Oliver & Associates are very professional in how they handle the clients and how they handle themselves in the court. Austin was able to settle my case with minimal backlash and impairment of my everyday life. He was also able to assist me in other matters not pertaining to my case and give me advice which has helped tremendously. I very highly recommend this firm on the highest regards.

Hired Law firm 2014-2021I have hired Durflinger Oliver for many speeding tickets and some criminal cases over the past 7 years. I was originally recommended by a friend and now recommend this law office to ALL my friends. Immediate family members of mine have also hired these attorneys for similar infractions and have always gotten favorable results. Attorney Austin Ansingh has gotten me many dismissals or reduced fines, is easy to work with and even funny. I have never felt misrepresented, like I had gotten bad value-for-money or in serious trouble. They handle everything and just let me know when to show up in court, if I even have to! I can not recommend these lawyers enough, they have even refunded me for cases that took considerably less work than anticipated. It is hard to find honest representation.. and if that is what you are looking for then LOOK NO FURTHER. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
