Attorney Ohlson was simply masterful in his strategies when dealing with the unfortunate instance when I was arrested for the first and only time in my life. At that time I really had no idea what was going on and wasn't even particularly corporative with my own attorney, but Attorney Ohlson still managed to take the optimal decision every step of the way. Not only did Attorney Ohlson obtain the best possible outcome for me, he also helped me get the mental health treatment I needed in order to avoid making mistakes that may have gotten me into future legal trouble. My life would likely be much worse now had I not been represented by Attorney Ohlson and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking the services he provide.

Unfortunately for me it wasn?t my first time in court but luckily I found a good lawyer who was able and willing to help me get through this case so that I could keep my job and not have any repercussions for myself or my family considering how versed in the rules of law mr ohlson is in a matter of months and without any crazy fines related to the matter is Able to get the matter dismissed and the matter is settled and the record I had as a 17 18 19 year old ?kid? is still the only thing that is on my record? he was also the first attorney who had the time to call me back after I eft a message for hm usually the same day I left it and was also able to find a way to keep me calm while faceing charges thank u times 100

We consulted Tina for some of the queries we had regarding the divorce laws in Massachusetts. She was superb and articulate. Her explanation gave us wonderful clarity on the process. She was kind enough to provide us with crucial source documents and calculations that were extremely helpful. Definitely recommend this law firm.

I did not have any knowledge of the court system or how to handle my situation and George took the time to explain how the process would work and answered all my questions. George was readily available when I called him and if he was busy he would text me and let me know that he would call me later. I felt George put his full effort into my case and felt like he had my back and was doing the best for me. My proceedings went exactly as he explained they would proceed and it made the experience much less stressful. George's fee was fair and less than many other attorneys I had called about my case. I would highly recommend George.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
