During a friend’s consultation, she was the only attorney out of five who made unrealistic promises regarding detention release and asylum eligibility—results that did not align with the facts of the case. ​Furthermore, there are several professional red flags. She requested payment via Zelle to a non-profit organization ("Out of the Ashes Development Council") that appears to be permanently closed, rather than using a standard law office billing system that provides receipts. Most importantly, upon searching her background, we found that she has been disciplined by the State Bar on several occasions. It is deeply concerning to see a legal professional target vulnerable individuals with false hope and questionable billing practices.
