To say Roger A. Kraft is an incredible criminal defense attorney is an understatement at best. With Roger, you can rest assured your case is in the most capable of hands and that he has your best interests at heart. His knowledge and understanding of the law accompanied by his dedication to his clients, his moral standing, and his fortitude, are what saved me from the possibility of life in prison. He was able to help me understand the court system and its procedures, which gave me hope and lessened my stress during the most difficult time in my life. My family strongly trusted in him and his discernment when he was asked to take my case, and that trust was proven to be laid in the right hands. What Roger was able to give me is something few attorneys can give; my life and my dignity back. I'll be forever grateful to him, his legal team, and his family who I know he spent many hours away from to make sure my case was as strong as it could be. Roger, I can never say THANK YOU enough.

I was facing 15 to Life for a crime I didn't commit and Roger put together a strategy that would set me up for the most likely chance to be found not guilty if my case had gone to trial. He got me out of jail where I was locked up in maximum for a month when my bail was set at $100,000 on my own reconnaissance so I didn't have to fork over $10,000 to get out of jail on bond. He had me do preemptive things for my case to help prove my innocence if it had gone to trial. He fought for me at several court hearings and things went our way sometimes when things could have gone worse for me. He built a very strong case for my innocence using things I provided to show I was innocent of the charges and he pulled apart the witnesses statements and found holes and discrepancies all through out their statements. When the time came to hear the witnesses statements, they actually did a no show for court, I believe because they were afraid to be cross examined by Roger under oath. Trying to tell a lie about someone and having 2 separate people attempting to stick to the lie in order to get me found guilty is difficult when the charges and accusations are false and I belive that's what scared them and why they ultimately did not show up to court on that day. Shortly after I received a call from Roger letting me know after about 1.5 years of dealing with this stress of being falsely accused of sexual abusing my own daughter, the nightmare was over because even the prosecutor dealt a lie was being told and I was innocent then Roger also informed the prosecuting attorney of other information he had not revealed to her yet that he was saving in case it went to trial and just reaffirmed to her of the fact I was innocent of these monstrous charges and accusations. Roger helped in saving me from being convicted of a very serious crime and I'm very grateful for all his efforts in my case.

I went through a nasty divorce and was forced into bankruptcy. I was feeling pretty defeated about having to do this. Roger was with me every step of the way. Always happy to answer any of my questions or concerns and to explain things to me. It was over all the most positive experience it could of been.

My husband and I hired Roger Kraft in 2007 to help with a bankruptcy after he did my parents and back then he was amazing. I got into a situation where I thought I might need another bankruptcy so I called up Roger Kraft he was honest enough to tell me that ?I would love to take your money, but you would be better off not filling bankruptcy? I appreciate his up front honesty and caring for his clients.

They were so perfect! Elisha was very attentive and walked me through step by step for each process. Roger made sure to attend the hearings with me and was very clear on everything. They some how made a bankruptcy a pleasant experience. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
