Our law practice at Miller & Associates brings our attorneys' business law and family law experience together on behalf of business owners and others with complex financial portfolios. We also represent a wide spectrum of individuals undergoing more "routine" divorces.

Adept at Working With Numbers, People and the Law

At Miller & Associates, we have a great deal of experience in complex business and real estate issues. We provide a comprehensive service for our clients to ensure that their assets are divided quickly and efficiently.

A Versatile Family Law Firm

We particularly enjoy the human element and the variety of our family law practice. We help people structure their lives legally and financially as they move through the process of divorce, custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, domestic violence and restraining orders.

As needed, we work with CPAs and other professionals to analyze business income when helping clients calculate child/spousal support. From integrating current laws with the numbers revealed in a business owner's tax returns, we work hard to stay on top of both the law and the facts in each client's circumstances.

Limited Scope Attorney Representation

Miller & Associates offers clients limited services. For example, if you cannot afford to hire an attorney to represent you on all issues of your divorce, you can hire an attorney to represent you for a child support modification hearing, or just to prepare and review documents for you, or to analyze property division issues, etc. In fee arrangement such as this, the client manages all other aspects of his/her case and is responsible for handling and resolving all other issues.

Paralegal Services

In an ongoing effort to help our client save money, Miller & Associates also offers paralegal services. If you cannot afford an attorney, or do not feel you need one, just contact Miller & Associates For a FREE 1/2 hour consultation with an attorney, and we will help you determine what level of services best fit your needs. If your matter is uncontested, which means you and your spouse have reached agreements on all issues, then utilizing our paralegal services may be the right thing for you.

Thank You Bryanna and the entire team at Miller & Associates. From the get go, Bryanna kept me informed about what could and probably would happen during my divorce process. There were no surprises when we eventually ended up in a 2 day court trial. Bryanna's professionalism and attention to detail completely won the day. We won every single contested issue. Thank You

Divorce can be a stressful and trying time. Miller Law Firm provided the professional support that I needed. I worked with Bryanna who was extremely knowledgeable and brought her expertise to the table in all matters offering options that I would not have otherwise thought of. The support staff was also incredibly professional and kept detailed records of all matters. I highly recommend Miller and Associates for any matter that you may have before you.

I cannot express how happy I am with the service I received from Bryanna. My last experience with a lawyer was the absolute worst situation I have experienced and I was very worried hiring another lawyer. During my consultation with Bryanna I already knew that this was going to be a different experience. She was able to make me feel comfortable during a very stressful situation and I could tell that she genuinely did care about my situation. I felt very confident in hiring her and was not disappointed. Her and her team helped me in anyway I needed and I was not left waiting and wondering. I could not be happier with the outcome and I will not hesitate to hire Bryanna again In The future if I ever need. Thank you so much for everything! Aloha.

Bryanna kickstarted my case after I struggled to get traction while representing myself. She guided my case to a swift and fair resolution for both parties and deftly navigated an uncooperative OC to ensure my case was resolved in a timely and effective manner. Bryanna was a consummate professional and very responsive. I couldn't be happier with my representation and highly recommend her, Amy, and the Miller & Associates team!

Bryanna was confident, efficient and understanding. She wasn?t pushy or egocentric. I?d recommend her to anyone needing assistance in child custody matters. I had a great first experience with the legal system because of her.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
