Hired Law firm 2023-2024I do not recommend using this attorney if you are filing for divorce. She appeared to care about the case in the beginning, but that all changed later on. Because I was the petitioner, she should have written the final agreement up in my favor since I filed for divorce first. Instead, she waited for my ex-husband's attorney to write up the final agreement in his favor. She wanted me to agree to all his terms so that the divorce could be finalized. She never negotiated anything in my favor. She worked hard to get me to agree to my ex-husband's terms. If I had agreed to those terms, I would have had to file for bankruptcy. Because I wouldn't agree to those unethical terms, she withdrew from the case, and I had to search for another attorney. Divorce was already difficult, and she made it even more challenging for me. She found ways to use up most of my retainer fee because she didn't do much on my case. I was devastated at this type of behavior from someone who had been practicing law for many years. I wouldn't wish this type of experience on anyone. Save yourself the time, money, and energy by not using this attorney.
