Our firm principal, G. Oliver Koppell, a cum laude graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, has a distinguished legacy of service in both the private and public sectors. He brings more than 40 years of legal experience to bear on every case and has successfully represented clients in many areas of practice. Mr. Koppell is a former New York State Attorney General. In addition, he has served as a member of the New York State Assembly and the New York City Council.
Mr. Koppell has vast experience in both trial and appellate courts across New York and beyond. In fact, he has argued before the Supreme Court of the United States. This experience offers meaningful benefits to our clients. Mr. Koppell has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers each year from 2013 to 2016.
Attorney Daniel F. Schreck is an associate of the firm. Mr. Schreck has more than a decade of practice experience and has been selected for inclusion as a Super Lawyers Rising Star each year from 2014 to 2016.
In addition, Lorraine Coyle has practiced law since 1980. A St. John's University School of Law, Ms. Coyle had the second highest score on the New York Bar in 1980. She focuses her practice on estate planning, elder law, estate administration, probate and real estate. Ms. Coyle is a former Director of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar and a past president of the Bronx Women's Bar Association.
Attorney Ruth Jin has practiced law since 2005. Ms. Jin has earned law degrees from Peking University Law School, the University of Tokyo Law School and Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Jin concentrates her practice on securities and corporate law. She represents private equity funds, hedge funds, entrepreneurs, emerging companies and Fortune 500 companies in a variety of matters. Ms. Jin also has extensive experience representing nonprofit companies.
