Hired Law firm 2022-2023Retained Rita Jackman on the advice of an attorney fried after I was rear ended . Ms. Jackman and her asst . Walked me through the process, presented realistic expectations, and in the end delivered every thing they talked about . The process can seem slow but they stayed in touch and kept me informed about process, timetables and results. I hope I don't need their services again but if I do need a personal injury attorney again know where I'm going .

Hired Law firm 2018-2021Rita Jackman provided me exceptional legal service. At first she came to my home to meet with me regarding my auto accident. From there she took full control and started my personal injury prosecution She put me at ease by telling me she would handle everything in with handling my case. Her assistant; Noelle Gargano processed my medical claims and expenses effectively and efficiently. Whenever I followed up with them, they were always available to answer my questions. I am very pleased with their legal services and I recommend anybody requiring legal services to contact Rita and Noelle to understand their options and if they need their services. I highly recommend them. Thank you for your professional services Rita and Noelle!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
