Overview
Katherine Brustowicz joined The Wagner Law Group as an Associate in October 2018 after having served as an intern beginning in May 2017. Her focus is in the practice areas of Employment Law & Human Resources, Labor Law, and Civil Litigation. Katherine's practice includes drafting employment-related policies and agreements, conducting employee and management training, and representing employers during audits. She also handles litigation in federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and in mediation and arbitration issues arising out of the employer-employee relationship including but not limited to those involving wage and overtime disputes, employment related contracts, compliance, discrimination, and harassment.
Prior to joining The Wagner Law Group, Katherine served as Judicial Intern to the Honorable Sabita Singh in the Massachusetts District Court Appellate Division, as a Legal Intern with the Office of General Counsel at Boston Children's Hospital, and as Clinical Research Coordinator and Data Research Coordinator at Boston Children's Hospital, in the Departments of Plastic & Oral Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery, respectively.

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
