Great attorney and law firm. Aaron helped me with complex trust situation. I am a retired attorney. I have known Aaron for several years. I know he is highly skilled, dedicated and trustworthy. He has a fantastic staff in his office. I most strongly recommend him if you have a divorce, family law or estate planning problem.

There are times in life where you are going to need someone to fight for you. We had such time a few years back and Aaron was referred to us. He was exactly what we needed. He was compassionate to our situation and a showed up with force in the courts. Clearly, we were going through a hard time and his regular communication put a lot of our worries at ease. His experience really shines in court and I have all the confidence in the world in Aarons ability and knowledge about the law. We have since referred Aaron to other friends and they have had great success together. Thank you Arron for fighting for our family and helping us come out on top of a hard time. We are eternally grateful for you!

Aaron Smith has represented me in the Vista court system, and I would highly recommend this Attorney to anyone seeking outstanding representation. His knowledge, his concern and his willingness to represent me and my issues were outstanding. Aaron cared about me and worked very hard for the results I was looking for. I highly recommend Mr. Smith to anyway seeking good Legal support.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
