Lee did an amazing job. Working with her, I felt taken care of. Lee does well at responding in a professional timely manner. She definitely made me feel heard and validated me but wasn?t afraid to still to be honest and real about my case. It was very helpful. Lee was able to cater to my need and filter out the core objectives and was also able to be transparent which I really appreciated. I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend her for anyone that also might be seeking legal advice. All their hard work is definitely noticed. Lee has gone above and beyond for their clients. Thank you for your service. I feel so much relief after working with Lee. Thank you Lee!

We had a backlog of estate planning issues that had accumulated during the pandemic. Our case is quite complex, involving a trust set up in another state for a special needs beneficiary in Minnesota as well as complications stemming from the SECURE Act. Lee listened to our concerns, responded in a timely and efficient manner to detailed questions, provided clear and thorough explanations, and volunteered guidance on several matters that we had not anticipated. All at reasonable rates. She is friendly, yet professional. The office is conveniently located, and parking is easy. We highly recommend Lee and Geffre Law.

I worked with Geffre Law to help me with my wife's estate. She passed without a will. This had to go through probate. Geffre Law is very knowledgeable in that process. Found I could do a informal probate so that mad ethe process quicker and easier. Any questions I asked were answered promptly.

These guys are great. They took care of all my concerns and were very quick about it. I had my documents in under a week and didn't have to pay a lot. They were very polite and friendly. Their office is very nice and convenient to get to. I don't like driving into Minneapolis.

I needed a probate lawyer after my mother's death so that I could sell her home. Geffre Law took great care of me during an extremely difficult time and stuck it out with me during the extremely long probate and selling process. I'm glad I chose them and will be keeping their number in case I need it.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
