I would recommend this firm to anybody in need. They are great. I couldn?t be happier with Attorney Flinchum and his handling of my case. Hard worker and fighter.

Sean and his team went above and beyond with our family court case. We couldn't be happier with the time and effort they all spent helping us through our journey. Big thank you to Natasha their Paralegal who did house calls and was at our hearing even on her day off. They entire team is who you want behind you and your family!!!

Sean did an amazing job defending us in a business lawsuit. I've never recommended an attorney before, but this guy is honest, responsive and on point.

We, my husband and I have nothing but praise for Attorney Avon. She came on board a very heated custody trial that went all the way to the PA Superior Court. She was focused and very helpful with all of our questions. Talked us off the ledge on a few occasions because honestly, we had no idea the depths someone could go to in order to make you look bad, lie and try to ruin you. She guided us through all the opposing drama and kept reassuring us that the Judge saw through what was being said. It took over 3 years of constantly being dragged back to court, but we now have 50/50 custody. The battle is by no means over but we have full confidence that Attorney Avon was fair, honest and will continue to lead us in the right direction. Many thanks Liz.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
