Thank you very much Keith and Tim for helping my son with the med school dismissal. We truly appreciate the effort your firm has put into this whole process. We believed you at first sight when we hired your firm, and we had great feeling throughout the process that the end is going to be unbelievable with the success my son deserves to back into the school. We hope that GOD does not put my son in this situation again! We would sure recommend anyone needing your support to achieve someone else who may be suffering without the knowledge of your firm being around. Good JOB!!!!!! and THANK you for all of you at your firm and God Bless!

I have worked with Tanner brooks at Keith Altman Law on an academic integrity matters that took place at my university. Tanner was the first to recognize miscommunication and later on retaliation having been taken place as well as biases. Tanner supported me fully throughout the process of the appeal, the appeal hearing for my cases as well as approaching the legal counsel. This firm is there foryour needs as a student in a university when in trouble they know the ins and outs of the university disciplinary process and how schools think amidst these often unfair processes. I would thoroughly recommend them to you and particularly Tanner Brooks and Keith Altman, Timothy Markley, and Richard Gill who are there with you as a team to fight the school in these unfair and often times arbitrary biased processes.

There were positives and negatives. The system is set up in a manner in which you initially talk to a sales/scheduling employee. The sales person made it sound like my case was something they could easily handle so I was open to the higher consultation fee. They were very prompt in answering communications and it was easy to set up the consultation. It was $350 for a consult which must be paid before scheduling. It was conducted by phone and lasted about 20 minutes. They may be a good choice in certain locations or circumstances but weren?t able to help me with basic services to set up IEP?s for my daughter?s.

I could not thank Tanner Brooks enough for helping me with a dispute at my University. I wouldn't have been able to continue with my nursing program without his hard work and dedication. During the three months of working with Tanner, the process was seamless. Although my situation was not good, he made it bearable. I felt Tanner was just as determined as I was to win my case; he put his total effort into it and never failed to impress me. Another comment I must make is on his writing! Tanner rewrote many of my appeals and grievances to make them into a stronger and more professional argument. I was always blown away while reading them because his writing skills are truly an art! Nothing was more satisfying than sending those letters to my Dean/Vice President. Hiring Tanner would be the best decision you make while dealing with an unpleasant situation in your academic career. I 1000% recommend!

I had an unpleasant experience and a poor outcome. The team were difficult to reach and had difficulty talking with the attorney even during the process. They never communicated further and did not follow through the last part of the appeal process as stipulated by the firm. I was never debriefed till date and they never reached out to my college at the GC level.

We're sorry to learn your experience with the firm was below your expectations. Though we fought the allegations against you from initial hearing through multiple levels of appeal involving university administrators up to the Board of Regents, we can understand that a lack of responsivity during the process could make you feel out of the loop, and without steady updates on our progress, it may have appeared that we were uninvested in your situation. The state system where you studied has a unique legal structure in which individual schools do not have specific General Counsels. However, we fought the charges against you at all possible levels. Unfortunately, the state school system was not receptive to granting a reasonable decision regarding the charges. We know the effects these unfair outcomes have on the educational futures of our clients, and we leave no stone unturned to prevent setbacks in their educational and professional progress. Despite this, it is clear that better communication would have improved your experience. Thank you for your insight on working with us. We will incorporate your thoughts in future efforts to meet the needs of the students we serve. We wish you all the best.

Mr. Altman and staff were easy to work with and supportive throughout the process. We were able to resolve the problem after Mr. Altman presented our case to the decision makers. Very pleased with the outcome and I highly recommend KAltman Law.

The team was prompt, professional, and compassionate in helping me with my case. For my first time working with a legal team, I was pleasantly surprised with how supported I felt throughout the process. Upon our first phone call I immediately trusted them to handle the situation well, and I am glad to say we had a successful outcome! They were not only exceptionally kind and understanding of my situation, but also drilled down into the nitty gritty details to make sure they understood the fine points of the circumstances. Can't say enough kind words about how I have been treated by these wonderful, compassionate people.

Mr. Altman was very knowledgeable and helped make the different appeal processes smooth. He walked me through questions that would be asked and made sure I was comfortable. I am very grateful that he helped me, and I highly recommend him.

I worked with attorney Altman and his staff when falsely accused in a Title IX matter. The firm was able to help me avoid avoid a hearing and leave my district on my own terms.

Not worth the money. If you need assistance with iep?s use someone local who understands the school system in your area. The school had to spend half the meeting explaining the way the school system works to the advocate. She would recommend things only to be told that it didn?t meet the criteria to be in certain categories. I felt like those were things the advocate should?ve known.

Ashley B. Did a zoom call to our school today in another state. And not only did she nail a lot of the key topics that were not addressed but got them to get off of their lazy butts and start the process at the school to where our son has his full potential met with learning, due to the fact that they did not seem to care that he had special needs. They looked at how they ran their school and her team executed perfectly to the best interest of our child and for that we are greatly thankful so I and my wife highly recommend this law firm Advocate group to help any child or family in need nationwide. Best decision you ever make for your child.

I originally hired the K Altman law team to help with problems at my son?s school. They were the only ones to respond in the time I needed and seamed knowledgeable. But as things continued, they seamed to constantly forget the details of my case. At one point they even started to close out my case forgetting a meeting still scheduled with the school. There efforts seamed to help the school trying to remove my child instead of advocating for him. When I started to insist, they take action to help they told me they could not guarantee outcomes. Finally, just days before the final hearing they told me they would no longer help and dropped my case. Turns out this was the best thing they could have done. Once I could no longer rely on the advocates help, I took the actions I had been asking her to do. I was able to keep my son in place for the rest of the school year and even got the district to write special accommodations I had asked for. If I had never hired K Altman law it would have gone so much better and saved me thousands of dollars. I don?t think anyone should ever rely on K Altman law team for help.

We appreciate your thoughts and regret that you feel we did not fully or effectively advocate for your son. It is clear that there was a disconnect between your expectations and how we fought for your son's right to stay in his previous school and benefit from the accommodations he was entitled to. We fought hard for your family at the school and district levels to ensure his rights were respected and he received the support he deserved, including facilitating assessments of his needs and holding the district accountable for meeting them. While we respectfully disagree with your characterization of the situation and our work, our main concern is your satisfaction that we secured an educational environment where your son can reach his potential. We take full responsibility for the results we achieve for our clients; and though we are confident we took every measure possible to get the best outcome for your family, we recognize that you were unsatisfied with the result and that miscommunication may have contributed to misunderstanding regarding our methods and the resolution. We are glad you reached a solution that will allow your son to thrive. Thank you for your feedback.

We had a very complex litigation that evolved from denying fape, to character defamation, retaliation and harassment. Our first meeting with Keith he was amazing, it finally felt like we had someone in our corner. They insisted we speak with their sped advocate team even though it was no longer a sped issue as our children transferred schools and were getting services but had evolved into harassment where the public school was demanding I delete all of my social media, which Keith himself said no that's illegal as you have first amendment rights. We felt like we finally found an attorney who would listen and explain this complicated issues with us, instead it appears it was a snake oil salesman with no capability of complex let along with willingness to listen to it, They canceled our litigation intake meeting and stated since the sped due process was already adjudicated they would not meet with us. We were meeting about Title IX violations, harassment. To which their litigation team stated they would not speak with us. After 11 days they said they "suddenly read all the legal documents within an hour" and would not meet with us. I'm sure they are an adequate law firm with the run of the mill iep and school disputes but refusing to even talk to parents who had been waiting over 11 days to meet with the litigation team only to be told we are canceling your appointment, was devastating. To this date no attorney has spoken with us and refuse to. I would also be willing to state to this moment they probably still don't even know the details of the case in which they unilaterally turned down.

Thank you for your feedback, Matthew. Your disappointment is evident from your review, and we are in turn disappointed that you did not have the experience you were looking for. It was a privilege to fight for your son's educational rights. Our advocacy efforts and negotiations with the school allowed him to continue his education through the remainder of the semester while his needs were evaluated and a plan developed to meet them. Following our advocacy for your son, we chose to review the information you provided to investigate the potential to assist you with a lawsuit. We determined that we were not the right firm to pursue your further goals through litigation. We regret if there was miscommunication regarding the outcome you sought. We appreciate you allowing us to advocate for you and know your son has a great future ahead.

I would recommend K Altman Law to assist with any educational needs you may need. My educational advocate, Nicole C. did an amazing job guiding my family and me through the special education system laws and procedures. She always informed and reached out to me. She was my rock through it all. I knew I was in over my head with the local school district when I called and she immediately took charge and made me feel like we were going to be okay. She helped us get all of our demands met and make sure that we were set up for success moving forward. I am so greatful we had her by our side throughout the entire process. Nicole C. truly keep me going when i felt like thinks we're getting to be overwhelmeing. Also, Rebecca thank you for speaking to me and helping me get a fantastic match with Nicole. Do not hesitate, hire them and know you are in the best possible hands. Don't ever fight the school system alone. I pray I don't have to do it again, but if I have too I will definitely utilize K Altman Law. Hands down! Overall 10/10
