He is proud of the core values he set for his company: + Healers As Needed, Warriors When Necessary. We pursue our client's cause, sometimes with a sword = wit, skill, assertive tenaciousness, and often with a shield = kindness, respect, and fair negotiating. Thorough preparation and initiative also give us leverage to resolve a dispute. + We Lead. We're decisive. We make the call and own the outcome. Confident, not arrogant. + Our Friendly Attitude & Enthusiasm are in our DNA. We create memorable human connections. + We are Creative and Ethical Problem Solvers. It’s important to us that we ethically innovate and adapt to overcome challenges. + We are Communicators. Clear, thorough, understandable, ON-POINT communication is our trade. We use the right words (plain or sophisticated depending on the audience), in the right way, at the right time.
Over these years, he’s lectured attorneys and the public on topics related to “Interdictions” (a.k.a adult guardianships), Testaments, and Estate “succession” and administration. These scenarios include family rifts, repressed hurts, and past dishonest actions. Working these cases are usually big sources of extra stress for the attorney, and clients that GLG can help relieve– often through speed of action and diligence. Its also important to this company that everyone speak to clients in terms they can easily understand.
When he’s not at his office, he manages a staff of five, is active in local non-profits like Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, Clean Pelican, Louisiana Notary Assn,Knights of Columbus, and enjoys time with his animals, which include honey bees. He lives in Baton Rouge with his wife, Hope, and they are the parents of four children.
