Magdalis A. Prats Figueroa is an Associate in the Tax Law Department of Goldman Antonetti & Córdova, LLC. Her practice includes corporate tax, sales and use tax, tax incentives laws, state and local taxes, and corporate law matters.
Ms. Prats Figueroa has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus (magna cum laude), and a Juris Doctor from the School of Law of the same university (cum laude). After completing her Juris Doctor, she worked as Civil Litigation Attorney in the Tax, Debt Collection, and Eminent Domain Division of the Puerto Rico Department of Justice. In this role, Ms. Prats represent the Commonwealth and its agencies in complex civil litigation before the state courts in taxation, contracts, estates, and torts disputes. Before joining the firm, Ms. Prats also worked in Plan de Salud Menonita, Inc., as Special Investigator of fraud against the Federal and State Governments.
