George L. Santopietro is a partner in the Law Firm of Coia & Lepore, Ltd. He concentrates in the areas of Personal Injury and Civil Litigation. He has settled and litigated thousands of personal injury cases in Rhode Island State and Federal Courts. He graduated from Providence College, magna cum laude, in 1974 and earned his law degree from Suffolk University in 1977.

George's passion and dedication to his profession is unparalleled. He has lectured and authored articles on personal injury settlements and litigation. Additionally, he has been involved in many high profile personal injury cases and trials. He has also been an arbitrator for more than twenty-five (25) years.

He is a member of the R.I. Bar Association, American Bar Association, U.S. District Court for Rhode Island and the U.S. Supreme Court. Additionally, he is on the Board of Governors of the R.I. Association for Justice and the Board of Directors of Roger Williams University Law School. He is a fellow in the Rhode Island Bar Foundation and a member of the American Board of Trial Attorneys, Justinian Law Society, St. Thomas More Society, R.I. Federal Court Bench/Bar Committee and the National Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Santopietro has served on the Commission on Judicial Tenure and Discipline and the R.I. Judicial Performance Legal/Education Partnership. He is one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in the National Trial Lawyers Association and is one of R.I. "Super Lawyers". For more than forty (40) years, he has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. He has received numerous professional and community awards including the Dorothy Lohmann Award from the R.I. Bar Association.
