Rhiannon S. Huffman has been practicing law since 2012 with a primary emphasis on creditors’ rights, judgment enforcement, subrogation, complex product liability, replevins, civil rights, toxic tort and asbestos defense, contract disputes, discrimination and harassment, alternative dispute resolution, personal injury defense and intellectual property defense. She is admitted to the bars of the State of Rhode Island, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. She has extensive experience in both state and federal court litigation.

Rhiannon received her undergraduate degree in her hometown of Murfreesboro, Tennessee at Middle Tennessee State University in 2005 with a major in journalism and minors in political science and sociology. While attending the MTSU she became a published journalist at the Daily News Journal, a Gannett owned newspaper. She received her law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, RI in 2011. While in law school she participated in several pro bono activities including the Roger Williams School of Law Mediation Clinic, Alternative Spring Break (providing pro bono legal assistance to victims of domestic abuse and Hurricane Katrina victims in New Orleans, LA), legislative intern for Patrick Quinlan, Esq., interned for the Providence City Solicitor’s Office and the Rhode Island Office of Attorney General. She was a recipient of a Summer Stipend in 2010 for pro bono work. She continues her dedication to pro bono work in her law practice which includes being a cooperating attorney for the American Civil Liberties Foundation of Rhode Island.

Rhiannon is currently the co-chairperson of the Rhode Island Bar Association Technology Committee and a part of the E-Filing Working Group. As such, she has worked to assist in the implementation and improvement of the Rhode Island Judiciary’s e-filing system and continues to assist the bar in addressing technology and e-filing issues that affect the bar and educating the bar on e-filing and technology in the practice. She is also a member of the Superior Court Bench Bar Committee and the Federal Court Bench Bar Committee.
