His years of experience have benefited his clients by providing them with strategic advice in the formation, development, and appreciation of a business. In addition to his 26 years of litigation experience, John is regularly appointed as a Receiver of insolvent entities wherein he has operated business as “going concerns” and liquidated assets for the benefit of creditors.
John’s years of experience dealing with distressed businesses has assisted clients in maneuvering through a business environment to avoid pitfalls experienced by others and to reap the rewards of successful business decisions.
John has also been appointed by the Court and sought after by parties to act as a mediator to resolve business disputes.
Notable Experience
- John successfully defended Rhode Island auto dealers against a class certification for claims related to the violation of Rhode Island Department of Motor Vehicle regulations. Through John’s efforts before the Superior and Supreme Courts of Rhode Island, the regulations were deemed improperly promulgated, and the case was dismissed.
