Harmony is a litigator who focuses her practice on receivership, insolvency, business and commercial litigation. Appointed to the R.I. Superior Court Receivership panel in 2017, she has experience as a Receiver in a wide array of industries. Harmony also has experience litigating a variety of corporate disputes, including business owner disputes, shareholder derivative, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and business tort claims. She has also handled general commercial, civil, personal injury, products liability and premises liability litigation over the years. She practices in all state and federal courts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Harmony enjoys working with clients, learning about their businesses, and helping them find strategies and solutions to resolve their disputes in order to achieve the best outcome. She advises clients on all of their dispute resolution options including litigation, pre-suit resolution, or settlement through alternative dispute resolution.

Notable Experience

  • Counsel to the Receiver of the City of Central Falls and the State of Rhode Island in the Chapter 9 case of the City of Central Falls.
  • Obtained favorable settlement at mediation for client in nuisance class action lawsuit.
  • Represented various departments of the State of Rhode Island in two large community hospital receiverships.
  • Negotiated and obtained a six-figure settlement for clients in a wrongful death case.
