In addition to his private practice, Attorney Howe has served as a Judge of the Probate Courts of North Kingstown and South Kingstown since 2004. His judicial experience has provided him with a broad perspective on probate matters and the legal issues affecting individuals and families.

Attorney Howe has also been active in Rhode Island's legal community and professional organizations. He served as President of the Rhode Island Association for Justice from 2004 to 2005 and currently serves on its Board of Governors. He is also a member of the Rhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. From 2026 through 2028, he will serve as President of the Justinian Law Society of Rhode Island.
