Stacey Tarte Meyer, managing shareholder with McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates, P.A., is a highly respected workers’ compensation and personal injury attorney with over 25 years of experience. Ms. Meyer practices primarily in the firm’s Columbia office, where she focuses on workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability, automobile accidents, and all forms of personal injury. Ms. Meyer graduated from Virginia Tech in 1989 with her Bachelor’s degree and went on to earn her law degree from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law in 1994. Ms. Meyer was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1994, at which time she joined the firm.
Ms. Meyer is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, its Torts and Insurance Practice sections, the Richland County Bar Association, the South Carolina Association for Justice, formerly known as the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association, and the Injured Workers’ Advocates.
In addition to her practice as an attorney, Ms. Meyer has served as an adjunct professor at Orangeburg/Calhoun Technical College’s paralegal training program and served on the College’s Advisory Board for Paralegal Studies and Criminal Justice.
