Overview
Compassion - This single word best describes my unique approach to the practice of law. I combine compassion for my clients with my more than fifteen years of criminal defense experience to achieve the best outcomes for my clients. I realize that facing a criminal charge for most people can be a terrifying process. Much of what makes that process so scary are the unknown factors that come into play that leave behind so many unanswered questions. Will I go to jail? Will I lose my job? How will this negatively affect my future and the goals I had set for myself?
My job as your Criminal Defense Attorney is to help answer those questions for you so that your mind can be put to ease. My promise to you and all clients is that I will work diligently to fight for you with one goal in mind, i.e., to lessen the long-term impact of an arrest. My responsibility as your advocate is to evaluate all aspects of your case, picking apart every detail to ensure that the state has treated you fairly and not made crucial mistakes along the way.
I see people at their worst and try to do what I can to help them get their lives back on track. Most of my clients are normal everyday citizens that simply had a momentary lapse in judgment which landed them in jail. I do not believe that minutes of poor decision-making should lead to a lifetime of consequences.
My reason for choosing the legal profession was simple - I wanted a career that would allow me to help others and hopefully make a difference in their lives. I still strive each day to accomplish both of those goals and although some days are more difficult than others, I cannot imagine doing anything more rewarding than this job.
