Mrs. Lucia received a Master of Arts in Mathematics at age twenty, and worked as a systems analyst until attending Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York. She simultaneously practiced law and raised a family for almost thirty years. As a partner in a New York law firm, she handled complex and novel litigation, and had an extensive appellate practice.
