As an experienced Family Law and Criminal Defense attorney for 23 years, Sam has earned a reputation for enthusiastically fighting for his clients. He brings new energy to Tidwell & Associates as he leverages his focus, organization, and high energy to assist Jerry and Matt Tidwell in making sure all clients get the attention they deserve.

Sam started his practice in 2002 with his father, Sam Robinson Jr., at Robinson and Associates in Chattanooga. Since then, Sam has represented thousands of people in all kinds of cases in Tennessee and Georgia, as well as the United States District Court in Chattanooga. Sam obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1995 and his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2001.

When he is not helping clients with the important matters that bring them to Tidwell & Associates, Sam enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and traveling
