Attorney Information
Overview
Tina is a native Tennessean and was raised by a strong, independent single mother alongside her three siblings. As a middle child, Tina quickly learned the importance of standing up for herself and of "being heard," a trait that carries through for her deserving and injured clients.
Tina's extremely humble beginnings taught her the value and necessity of hard work at an early age and bred in her a determination to succeed. That determination and never-give-up attitude drove Tina to pursue an education despite the challenges. With her inquisitive nature and eagerness to learn, Tina developed a natural interest in a legal career early in her education. She worked and paid her own way through college at Middle Tennessee State University, becoming the first person in her family to earn a college degree. But, Tina did not stop there. To fulfill a life-long dream once thought unattainable, Tina worked full-time during the day and attended law school at night, eventually earning her law degree from Nashville School of Law.
After several years of legal work in the Risk Management field assisting to defend personal injury cases including general liability, premises liability, products liability, negligent security and negligent hiring and retention, Tina recognized she wanted to make a difference in the lives of deserving and injured individuals. Tina felt her calling was to become a plaintiff attorney to stand up and fight for injured victims and ensure their voices were heard. As such, Tina successfully transitioned to a plaintiff attorney position at a local, well-known personal injury firm handling diverse personal injury cases. To this day, Tina recalls her first clients as a personal injury plaintiff attorney, now life-long friends, and the sense of fulfillment fighting for such deserving and injured clients.
Tina's vast risk management and defense experience gives her unique and powerful insights into the strategies often used by big corporations and insurance companies. Today, she uses those insights combined with her experience, talent, and the dogged determination that has helped her reach so many prior goals, to stand-up and fight to gain the justice her clients deserve. Tina handles cases, including automobile crashes, tractor-trailer crashes, road rage incidents, slip/trip and fall incidents, and dog attack incidents.
When Tina is not fighting for her clients, Tina enjoys all types of outdoor activities, going to the gym, motorcycle and bicycle riding, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their three cats.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
