Humphreys School of Law where he was awarded a Doctor of Jurisprudence. While at the University of Memphis, Mr. Barnett was a member of the Moot Court Board and won the Mock Trial Competition. In addition, Mr Barnett was awarded the Cali Award of Excellence for Product Liability. He is a member of the Howell Edmunds Jackson American Inn of Court.Mr. Barnett was accepted to the Tennessee State Bar and is admitted to practice before the Tennessee Supreme Court, Tennessee Trial and Appellate Courts and the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern District of Tennessee as well as the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Barnett is a lifelong resident of Jackson, Tennessee, where he resides with his wife. Mr. Barnett enjoys a good barbecue while reading Ralph Waldo Emerson.
