Alexander Gothard - Knoxville, TN

Alexander "Sandy" Gothard received his license to practice law on April 18, 1996. He attended college at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and law school at Nashville Law School.

He is admitted to practice law before all the courts in the State of Tennessee, the Tennessee Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Sandy is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. This membership is limited to trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience, and excellence in advocacy by achieving a trial verdict, award, or settlement in the amount of one million dollars or more.

He has fulfilled the requirements and has been approved to be a Rule 31 Listed Mediator in the field of General Civil Mediation by the Tennessee Supreme Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission.

On a personal note, Sandy has been married since October 2, 1993, to his wife Sharon, and they have three children.

Sandy has served on the vestry at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Chattanooga, TN.

Sandy also served as mayor for the City of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, after serving as a member of the City Council for many years.
