Overview
Ken Ward is one of the founding members of Trammell, Adkins & Ward, P.C., starting the firm in May 2008 with co-founders Brian H. Trammell and Terrill L. Adkins. He has 25 years of experience specializing in personal injury litigation, with a practice focused primarily in the areas of insurance and self-insured defense litigation involving automobile and trucking accidents, home owners’ claims, commercial losses, construction defense claims, fire and casualty, general liability, defense of fraud litigation as well as insurance coverage and claims litigation in all personal lines and commercial lines matters. He has successfully tried hundreds of jury and non-jury matters, and he was named as one of the “Most Prolific Trial Attorneys of 2005-2014” in the State of Tennessee. In addition to civil jury and non-jury trials, he has represented clients involved in appellate courts of the State of Tennessee. He has served as a frequent guest lecturer for various legal organizations in multiple states, speaking on numerous trial-related topics, including litigation strategy, trying jury trials, effective use of court room technology, insurance coverage issues, and other subjects at multiple Continuing legal education seminars for attorneys.
Mr. Ward serves as panel counsel for Allstate Insurance Company, Auto Owners Insurance Company, Baldwin & Lyons Insurance Company, Constitution States Services, Dairyland Insurance Company, Indiana Insurance Company, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Main Street America Group, Montgomery Insurance Company, National Grange Mutual Insurance Company, National Indemnity Insurance Company, Nationwide Insurance Company, Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, Peerless Insurance Company, Safeco Insurance Company, and Viking Insurance Company. Mr. Ward also represents CKE Enterprises, Inc. (“Hardee’s”) regionally within the southeast United States.
Mr. Ward is an active member of Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Associations, as well as the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association (TDLA) and the Defense Research Institute (DRI). He is also a member of the Hamilton Burnett American Inns of Court and the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He was recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement Membership as one of America’s Top 100 Attorneys®.
Ken and his wife Lora live in Lenoir City, Tennessee. They are active members of Fellowship Church. He is an avid fisherman and he enjoys all outdoor activities and sports, plays guitar and a little harmonica upon request.
