Attorney Information

Overview

Ashley Loy was born and raised in Arkansas. She always had a passion for standing up for others who needed help, and she felt that passion could best be served by becoming an attorney and truly advocating for those who need assistance. While enrolled in the night program at William H. Bowen School of Law, Ashley worked as an adjudicator for Social Security Administration’s Disability Determination Services (DDS). She became intimately familiar with Social Security’s rules and regulations and how the Administration decided who was eligible for benefits. After working for DDS for over five years, she learned how the decision-making process could sometimes play out unfairly for many people who deserved benefits.

After graduating from law school with honors, Ashley immediately went to work with Rainwater, Holt & Sexton. She wanted to use her years of knowledge and experience of how the Social Security Administration handles disability claims to effectively advocate for people who had their benefits denied. Rainwater, Holt & Sexton’s reputation for being fierce advocates for their clients grabbed Ashley’s attention, and she knew she wanted to be a part of that team. She treats every case on an individual basis, recognizing the facts that make each case, and each client, unique. She makes understanding each client’s circumstances a priority so that she can formulate the best strategy for that client’s case.

Like handling a claim for benefits from a big government, Ashley also recognizes the challenges in obtaining resolution and justice from big insurance companies after an accident. It’s not always easy being the David going up against the Goliath, whether that means the government or a big insurance company, but when you have a dedicated, diligent, and determined attorney at your side you also have the confidence that comes with working with the Rainwater, Holt & Sexton team.
