Overview
Ms. Laura Owings moved to Memphis at the early age of seven. She graduated from Evangelical Christian School in 1998 and received her baccalaureate degree from Baylor University where she was a Provost Scholarship Recipient, 1998-2002. While a law student at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, Ms. Owings received the Dean's Distinguished Service Award, 2006, and was the William B. Leffler Scholarship Recipient, 2003-2004. She also served as a Notes and Comments Editor for The University of Memphis Law Review. Prior to joining Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz, Ms. Owings completed a summer internship with the United States Postal Service, Law Department, and has worked as a technical writer at International Paper Company.
Ms. Owings is an avid college football fan and enjoys reading and spending her spare time with her husband and daughter. Her primary area of practice is Nursing Home Litigation.
