Michael Cox - Memphis, TN

Michael Cox is a native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and has called Memphis home since 2016. He graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, developing a strong understanding of the systems that impact individuals and families in moments of crisis. His experiences as a student and his early connection to the Memphis legal community inspired him to pursue a career advocating for people whose lives have been disrupted by the negligence of others.

Mr. Cox earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2025 and is admitted to practice law in Tennessee.

At NST Law, Mr. Cox focuses his practice on automobile accidents and premises liability. He takes pride in offering clients a steady, accessible presence during what is often one of the most difficult periods of their lives. He knows that injured individuals can quickly become overwhelmed by medical treatment, lost wages, property damage, and insurance companies that may pressure them to settle before they understand the full extent of their injuries. Mr. Cox is committed to protecting his clients’ rights, keeping them informed, and working tirelessly to maximize their recovery so they can focus on healing.

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Cox enjoys being part of the Memphis community. He is an avid supporter of the Memphis Grizzlies and the University of Memphis Tigers’ football and basketball programs. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing with his boxer, Gurlee.
