Consulted Attorney 2023Jennifer herself got caught in lies, and attempting to manipulate and change a situation luckily I have everything saved. When she didn’t like that she continued to call me 13 times from a blocked and restricted # and leave voicemails as well until 7:09 pm, Then she thought cuz she is an attorney the law doesn’t apply to her 😂😂🤷🏼♀️ of harassment, slander, or anything with misrepresentation/information etc … her professionalism is absolutely disgusting, she is a very disrespectful, ignorant person who lies ALOT, and when called on it acts like a child. Her assistant also is disrespectful whom they think they can talk to anyone however they want and think the law doesn’t apply to them, then play the victim when you hold them accountable. I would proceed with caution with Jennifer McCoy and her business in general, there’s also another reason at the time of posting my review she’s rated 2.2 stars 🤷🏼♀️

Consulted Attorney 2022I called the agency once I was made aware of the Garnishment. I called and spoke with Elizabeth in their Evansville IN office. I advised I was a single mom of three and my job is my sole source of income. I was advised to make an additional $40.00 payment, plus the $507.50 they took from my check. I was told that with the $547.50 payment made that was enough to have the garnishment released and a payment plan could be setup. I could pay $200.00 every 15th of the month. Well today on my rent check another $507.50 is missing. When I am sleeping in their Lobby with my kids then what.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
