Overview
Drawn by the excellent reputation of the firm in the areas of litigation and health care law, Anthony Bills joined Wiseman Ashworth Trauger as an associate in 2015. Anthony has spent his professional career handling a variety of matters in all phases of litigation, but his greatest interest and professional pursuit is effective trial advocacy. Anthony is admitted to practice in all Tennessee state and federal courts, and he has a diverse practice with experience in personal injury, products liability, nursing home litigation, health care law, mental health law, premises liability and fidelity and surety law.
Anthony graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2010 with a concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution and was admitted to the Order of the Coif for his academic achievement. He was a member of the Tennessee Law Review and participated in the Advocacy Clinic, developing legal practice skills by representing clients in criminal and housing cases. Outside of class, Anthony worked for a respected Knoxville plaintiff’s firm where he provided research assistance in products liability and personal injury cases.
Anthony has deep roots in Middle Tennessee, having grown up in Franklin, Tennessee and graduating from Montgomery Bell Academy in 2003. Anthony now resides in Franklin with his wife and four children. When he is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time outdoors working in the yard, playing ball with his sons, or canoeing the Harpeth River.
